This notice describes how djmitz.com (the “Site”) handles information when you visit. The Site is run by DJMitz as a personal / hobby music project. It is not operated by a registered company.
The Site operator is DJMitz (individual). For privacy questions, contact via the social links on the main page.
The Site is mostly static. It includes:
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. It helps us understand how the Site is used — for example page views, general location (such as city or region), browser and device type, and interactions we track as events (such as pad plays, carousel navigation, and outbound link clicks). Google may process IP address and online identifiers as part of this service. We do not use analytics for advertising on this Site, and we do not sell your data.
Local storage. If you use the cookie banner on the home page, your choice (accept or dismiss)
is stored in your browser as localStorage under the key cookieConsent so the banner
is not shown again. That value is only stored on your device; we do not receive it on a server.
What we do not collect on our own servers. This Site does not offer accounts, checkout, or contact forms. We do not ask you to submit your name, email, or postal address on djmitz.com itself.
A “cookie” is a small file stored on your device. “Similar technologies” include local storage and tags used by embedded content.
Cookie banner. The banner on the home page records your preference locally. It does not currently switch analytics on or off; Google Analytics runs when you load pages that include the tracking code (including this page).
We use analytics data only to:
We do not use this data for targeted advertising on djmitz.com, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, our processing of analytics data is based on legitimate interests (understanding and improving a small personal website). You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise rights relating to data held by Google, use Google’s privacy tools or contact us and we will point you to the right process.
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (typically months, not indefinitely).
Your cookieConsent local storage entry remains until you clear site data in your browser.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated notice.
